Four Fishermen Called as Disciples

18 *Matt. 4:18–22; Mark 1:16–20; Luke 5:2–11; John 1:40–42And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon *Matt. 10:2; 16:18; John 1:40–42called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and *Luke 5:10I will make you fishers of men."20 *Matt. 19:27; Mark 10:28They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

21 *Mark 1:19Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James theson of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.
