Faith Persevering in Trial

1 I *Ps. 25:5; 27:14; 37:7waited patiently for the Lord;

And He inclined to me,

And heard my cry.

2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,

Out of *Ps. 69:2, 14; Jer. 38:6the miry clay,

And *Ps. 27:5set my feet upon a rock,

And established my steps.
