My Help and My Deliverer

1 I *Ps. 27:14;37:7waited patiently for the Lord;

he inclined to me and *Ps. 39:12heard my cry.

2 He drew me up from *[Jer. 38:6] the pit of destruction,

out of *Ps. 69:2,14the miry bog,

and *Ps. 27:5set my feet upon a rock,

*Ps. 37:23making my steps secure.
