Psalm 138

Give Thanks to the Lord

Of David.

1 *Ps. 111:1I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;

before *Ps. 95:3;96:5the gods I sing your praise;

2 I bow down *Ps. 28:2;1 Kgs. 8:29toward your *Ps. 5:7holy temple

and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,

for you have exalted above all things

3 On the day I called, you answered me;

my strength of soul you increased.*138:3 Hebrew you made me bold in my soul with strength

for great is the glory of the Lord.

Do not forsake *See Ps. 100:3the work of your hands.
