O Lord, Deliver My Life

1 O Lord, *Ps. 38:1rebuke me not in your anger,

2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing;

But you, O Lord—*Ps. 90:13how long?

4 Turn, O Lord, deliver my life;

save me for the sake of your steadfast love.

5 For in *Ps. 30:9;88:10-12;115:17;Isa. 38:18death there is no remembrance of you;

in Sheol who will give you praise?

6 I am *Ps. 69:3weary with my *Ps. 38:9moaning;

every night I flood my bed with tears;

I drench my couch with my weeping.

it grows weak because of all my foes.
