1 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your3:4 Some manuscripts read our. life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your3:4 Some manuscripts our life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
1 ch. 2:12If then you have been raised with Christ, seek [Phil. 3:14] the things that are above, where Christ is, See Eph. 1:20seated at the right hand of God. 2 See Matt. 16:23Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For ch. 2:20;See Rom. 6:2you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ See John 11:25who is your3:4 Some manuscripts our life [Phil. 3:21;1 Pet. 1:1,7,13;1 John 2:28;3:2] appears, then you also will appear with him 1 Cor. 15:43in glory.
1 If then you were Rom. 6:5; Eph. 2:6; Col. 2:12raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, Ps. 68:18; 110:1; (Rom. 8:34); Eph. 1:20where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the (Matt. 6:19–21)earth. 3 (Rom. 6:2; 2 Cor. 5:14; Gal. 2:20); Col. 2:20For you died, (2 Cor. 5:7)and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 (1 John 3:2)When Christ whoisJohn 14:6our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in 1 Cor. 15:43glory.
1 Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 3:2 Or Be intent onSet your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
1 So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 3:1 Heb 10:122 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3:2 Php 3:193 For you died, 3:3 Rm 6:8 and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your 3:4 Other mss read our life, appears, 3:4 2Co 4:11; 1Jn 1:2; 2:28 then you also will appear with him in glory. 3:4 Lk 9:32; Jn 17:24; 2Co 3:18; 2Pt 3:18
1 Therefore, if you be risen with Christ, seek the things that are above; where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God: 2 Mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth. 3 For you are dead; and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ shall appear, who is your life, then you also shall appear with him in glory.
1,2 So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.
3,4 Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you’ll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ.
