6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the tis not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all1:7 Or every sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
6 ch. 2:11;John 12:35;2 Cor. 6:14If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and John 3:21do not practice the truth. 7 But [Isa. 2:5] if we walk in the light, [Ps. 104:2;1 Tim. 6:16] as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and Eph. 1:7;Heb. 9:14;1 Pet. 1:19;Rev. 5:9;7:14;12:11the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 [Job 15:14;Jer. 2:35]; See James 3:2If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and ch. 2:4the truth is not in us. 9 Ps. 32:5;51:3;Prov. 28:13If we confess our sins, he is [Ps. 143:1;Rom. 3:26] faithful and just to forgive us our sins and [See ver. 7above]to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
6 So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. 7 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
6 (John 8:12); 2 Cor. 6:14; (1 John 2:9–11)If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we Is. 2:5walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and (1 Cor. 6:11)the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we Ps. 32:5; Prov. 28:13confess our sins, He is (Rom. 3:24–26)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to Ps. 51:2cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
6 If we say, "We have fellowship 1:6 2Co 8:4 with him," and yet we walk in darkness, 1:6 Pr 2:13; Is 9:2; 50:10; Jn 8:12; 12:35; 1Jn 2:11 we are lying and are not practicing the truth. 1:6 Jn 14:6; 2Co 11:10; 3Jn 37 If we walk in the light 1:7 Eph 5:8–14; Php 2:15; Col 1:12–14; 1Th 5:5 as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus 1:7 Heb 10:19; 12:24; 1Pt 1:2,19; Rv 1:5 his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say, "We have no sin," 1:8 Pr 20:9; Jr 2:35; Rm 3:9–23; Jms 3:2 we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive 1:9 Ps 103:3; Jr 31:34; Mt 9:6; 26:28; Col 1:14; Jms 5:15 us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.
