NMV New Messianic Version Bible

And when king David [beloved] came to Bachurim [young men’s village], behold, there came out a man of the family of the house of Sha’ul [desired], whose name [was] Shime’i [Fame], the son of Gera [A Grain]: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.

And thus said Shime’i [Fame] when he cursed, Come out, come out, youi bloody man, and youi man of Belial [Worthless, Good for Nothing]:

And the king said, What have I to do with you, you2f sons of Tz’ruyah [balsam]? so let him curse, because the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has said unto him, Curse David [beloved]. Who shall then say, For what reason have youi done so?

And David [beloved] said to Avishai [my father is a gift], and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels (inward parts; affections), seeks my life: how much more now [may this] Benyamini [son of the right hand] [do it]? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has bidden him.

It may be that the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) will look on my affliction, and that the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) will requite (repay) me good for his cursing this day.
