Atos 16

1 Then came he to Derbe [tanner of skin] and Lystra [ransoming]: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy [honoring God], the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewish person, and believed; but his father [was] a Greek [unstable: the miry one]:

3 Him would Sha’ul [desired] have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah] which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek [unstable: the miry one].
