Elihu [He is my God] spoke moreover, and said,
Think youi this to be right, [that] youi said, My righteousness [is] more than God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]’s?
For youi said, What advantage will it be unto youi? [and], What profit shall I have, [if I be cleansed] from my sin?
I will answer youi, and youi companions with youi.
Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds [which] are higher than youi.
If youi sin, what do youi against him? or [if] youi transgressions be multiplied, what do youi unto him?
If youi be righteous, what give youi him? or what receives he of youi hand?
You1s wickedness [may hurt] a man as youi [are]; and youi righteousness [may profit] the Son of man.
By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make [the oppressed] to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
But none says, Where [is] God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] my maker, who gives songs in the night;
Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
There they cry, but none gives answer, because of the pride of evil men.
Surely God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
Although youi say youi shall not see him, [yet] judgment [is] before him; therefore trust youi in him.
But now, because [it is] not [so], he has visited in his anger; yet he knows [it] not in great extremity:
Therefore does Iyov [hated] open his mouth in vain; he multiplies words without knowledge.
