4 Yeshua [God is Salvation] answered them: "Go and tell Yochanan [Yah is gracious] that which you have seen and that which you have heard":
5 "the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are revived, and the poor are acquitted".
6 "Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) is he who is not confused concerning me".
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
4 Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see:5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy11:5 The Greek word traditionally translated leprosy was used for various diseases affecting the skin.are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.6 Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me."
4 And Jesus answered them, "Go and tell John what you hear and see:5 See Luke 7:22the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers11:5 Leprosy was a term for several skin diseases; see Leviticus 13are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and Luke 4:18;[ch. 5:3;James 2:5]the poor have good news preached to them.6 And blessed is the one who Isa. 8:14,15;John 6:61is not offended by me."
4 Jesus told them, "Go back to John and tell him what you have heard and seen—5 the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor."6 And he added, "God blesses those who do not fall away because of me.11:6 Or who are not offended by me."
4 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:5 Is. 29:18; 35:4–6; John 2:23The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and Ps. 22:26; Is. 61:1; Luke 4:18; James 2:5the poor have the gospel preached to them.6 And blessed is he who is not Is. 8:14, 15; (Rom. 9:32); 1 Pet. 2:8offended because of Me."
