46 While Jesus was yet speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers stood nearby. They wanted to speak to him.47 Someone told Jesus: »Look, your mother and your brothers stand nearby seeking to speak to you.«48 But he answered: »Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?«49 He stretched out his hand towards his disciples, and said: »Behold, my mother and my brothers!50 »For everyone who does the will of my Father who is in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother.«
