1 Oh come, let us sing to Jehovah. Let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation.2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.3 For Jehovah is a great God, and a great King above all gods.4 Deep places of the earth are in his hand. The strength of the mountains is also His.5 The sea is his. He made it and his hands formed the dry land.6 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Jehovah our maker.7 For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today hear His voice!8 Do not harden your hearts, as in the day of strife, as in the day of testing in the wilderness.9 Your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.10 For forty years I was grieved with this generation. I said: »It is a people who go astray in their hearts, and they have not known my ways.«11 I swore to them in my anger that they should not enter into my rest.
