22 Indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom.

23 We preach Christ impaled. It is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the nations!

24 To those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, it is Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

2 preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.

30 Philip ran to him, heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said: »Do you understand what you are reading?«

31 »How can I«, the eunuch said: »unless someone explains it to me?« He invited Philip to come and sit with him.

32 The Scripture he read was this: »He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer so he did not open his mouth.

14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone to preach?

15 How will they preach unless they have been sent? Just as it is written: »How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace and who bring good tidings of good things! For they proclaim salvation and say to Zion: »Your God reigns as king!« Hebrew: Elohiym malak: God rules! (Isaiah 52:7)

16 But they have not all obeyed the good news. For Isaiah says: »Jehovah, who has believed our message?« (Isaiah 53:1)

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word about Christ.

16 I am not ashamed of the good news; for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who exerts active faith believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 It reveals the righteousness of God from faith-to-faith for it is written: »The righteous shall live by faith.«

4 In reply Jesus answered: »It is written; man shall not live on bread alone, but on all everythingevery wordevery utteranceevery declaration that proceeds from the mouth of Jehovah.« (Deuteronomy 8:3)

11 The Bereans were nobler than those in Thessalonica because they received the word with all readiness of mind and examined the Scriptures daily to see if what Paul told them was true.

21 This is the wisdom of God that the world through its wisdom did not come to know God. God was well pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

35 Then Philip began at the same Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

10 Ezra devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of Jehovah. He taught its decrees and laws in Israel.

12 The Word of God is alive and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. (Ephesians 6:17) It separates the physical person from the spiritual person, of both joints and marrow. And it can discern judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (John 12:48)

7 »Preach as you go! Announce the kingdom of heaven, for it is near.

6 I am amazed that you so quickly turned away from the One who called you by the grace of Christ. You turned to different good news.

7 Yet this is not another good news. But there are some who trouble agitate you, and they would pervert the good news of Christ.

8 If we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any message other than that which we preached to you, let him be accursed condemnedexpelled.

9 We said before and now I say again, if any man preaches to you any message other than what you received, let him be accursed!

4 The things written in earlier times were written for our instruction, that we through endurance and the encouragement from the Scriptures might have hope.

8 And the word of Jehovah came to Zechariah:

17 »Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.

10 »As the rain and the snow come down from the sky, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

18 I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book.

19 If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.

9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to your word.

160 Your word is truth from the very beginning! Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.

8 Then the word of Jehovah came to him, saying:

39 »You search investigatestudy the Scriptures because you think that in them you have everlasting life. These Scriptures testify about me.

19 Jehovah continued to speak to me:

16 God inspired all Scripture! It is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. Greek: theopneustos: God-breathed

17 Thus the man of God may be completely equipped for every good work.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God. This is so we might know the things that are freely given to us from God.

13 We speak these things, not in the words that man's wisdom teaches. But we speak them with the words the Holy Spirit teaches comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to him! He cannot know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

17 Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the good news: not with wisdom of words, lest the stake of Christ be emptied of its effect.

20 Know this first that no prophecy of scripture is for private interpretation.

21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man! Men spoke from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah has anointed me to announce good news to the lowly and meek. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners.

2 To proclaim the favorable Year of Jehovah and the day of vengeance of our God. To comfort all who mourn,

3 to present a garland, instead of ashes, to those who mourn in Zion, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. They will be called oaks of righteousness. They are the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.

35 »Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

25 But the word of our God abides forever. This is the word of good tidings that was preached to you.

15 From childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to make you wise to salvation through faith that is in Christ Jesus.

16 God inspired all Scripture! It is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. Greek: theopneustos: God-breathed

17 Thus the man of God may be completely equipped for every good work.

1 The word of Jehovah that came to Joel the son of Pethuel:

15 Be diligent to be presented approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

18 Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying: »All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

19 »Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

20 »Teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.«

13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.

2 Paul went in, for it was his custom. He reasoned with them from the Scriptures for three Sabbath days.

3 He explained and proved that Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. And that Jesus is the Messiah.

25 He said to them: »You are foolish men. You are slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

26 »Did the Christ need to suffer these things and enter into his glory?«

27 He explained to them all the Scriptures about the things concerning him. He spoke about Moses and all the prophets.

5 Every word of God is pure. He is a shield to those who trust him.

6 Do not add to his words of he will reprove you. You will be found to be a liar.

4 Then Jehovah commanded Isaiah

15 Consider the patience of our Lord as salvation. Just as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you.

16 He spoke about these things in his letters. Some things are hard to understand. The untaught and unstable distort them as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

9 You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a people for Gods own possession, that you may show the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

1 This is Jehovahs Word, a divine revelation to Israel through His Messenger, Malachi:
