A Ceia do Senhor

16 The cup of blessing we bless, is it not the sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread we break, is it not the sharing of the body of Christ?

17 For we being many are one-bread and one-body. We are all partakers of that one bread.

18 While they sat and ate Jesus said: »Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me, even he that eats with me.«

19 They were sorrowful and said to him one by one: »Is it I?«

20 He said to them: »It is one of the twelve, he that dips with me in the dish.

21 »The Son of man goes even as it is written of him. Woe to that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better if he had not been born.«

2 The devil influenced the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simons son. So he betrayed him during the meal.

3 Jesus knew that the Father had given him power over all things. He also knew it came from God and he returns it to God.

4 He got up from the meal and laid aside his garments. He wrapped a towel around his waist.

5 Then he poured water into the basin and washed the disciples feet. He wiped them with the towel he was wearing.

21 After Jesus said this he was troubled in spirit and said: One of you will betray me.«

22 The disciples looked at each other. They were perplexed and wondered who it would be.

23 The disciple whom Jesus loved was leaning on his chest.

24 Simon Peter motioned to him: »Ask him who it is,« he urged.

25 He leaned back on Jesus breast and said to him: »Lord, who is it?«

26 Jesus answered: »It is he to whom I give a piece of bread after I dip it.« So when he dipped the bread he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

27 After he was given the piece of bread Satan entered him. Jesus said to him: »Do what you do quickly.«

28 No man at the table knew for what purpose he spoke this to him.

29 Some thought Judas was going to shop for food for the feast or give something to the poor. Judas was in charge of the moneybox.

30 He received the morsel of bread and left immediately. It was night.

20 I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh physical body I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

53 Jesus responded to them: »Truly I tell you if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood you will not have life in yourselves.

54 »He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life! I will raise him up at the last day.

55 »For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

56 »He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides with me, and I with him.

57 »The living Father sent me and I live because of the Father. He who takes me for his food will live because of me.

22 While they were eating, he took bread, and after blessing it, he gave the broken bread to them, and said: »Take it, this means represents my body.«

23 He took a cup, and when he had given praise, he gave it to them and they all had a drink from it.

24 He said: »This means represents my blood of the covenant given for men.

25 »Truly I say to you, I will take no more of the fruit of the vine till the day when I take it new in the kingdom of God.«

14 When it was time he sat down with the apostles.

15 He said to them: »I have earnestly wanted to eat this Passover with you before I die.

16 »I tell you I will not eat it again until it takes place in the kingdom of God.«

7 On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul spoke to them. Intending to depart the next morning he prolonged his speech until midnight.

26 As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed, and broke it; and he gave to the disciples. Then he said: »Take, eat; this is representsmeansexemplifies my body.«

27 Then he took a cup and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying: »Drink it all.«

28 »This is representsmeansexemplifies my blood of the covenant, poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

29 »I tell you, I shall not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Fathers kingdom.«

30 After they sang a song of praise to God, they went to the Mount of Olives.

4 Brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ; that you should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

5 When we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

6 We have been discharged released from the law. We have died to that by which we were held. So we serve in newness of the Spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.

26 For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till he comes.

51 »I am the living bread that came down out of heaven. If any man eats of this bread he will live forever. Yes and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.«

17 He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said: »Take this, and share it among yourselves.

18 »I say to you, I shall not drink from the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God comes.«

19 He gave thanks. Then he took the bread, broke it and gave it to them, saying: »This represents my body that is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.«

20 Then he took the cup saying: « This represents the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

33 When you come together to eat, wait for one another.

34 If any man is hungry let him eat at home. That way you come together without condemnation. I will give direction to care for other matters when I come.

15 For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant. A death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant. Those called may receive the promise of everlasting inheritance.

16 A will is used for a person who is dead. It becomes effective only when the person dies.

17 A will is in force after a person dies. Otherwise it is not in effect at all while the one who provided it lives.

27 Whoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of sinning againstfalsely representing the body and blood of the Lord.

28 Let a man examine himself before he eats of that bread, and drinks of that cup.

29 For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning not judging rightly the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

23 For I received from the Lord that which I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread.

24 And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, »Take and eat. This represents is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.«

25 In the same manner, after supper, he took the cup, saying, »This cup represents is the new covenant of my blood. Drink this as often as you do it in remembrance of me.«

26 For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till he comes.

7 The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed.

8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying: »Go make everything ready that we may eat the Passover.«

9 They asked him: »Where do you want us to get ready?«

10 He said: »When you enter the city a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house.

11 »Say to the master of the house: The teacher says; where is the guest chamber where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples?

12 »He will show you a large furnished upper room. Make it ready.«

13 They found things as he described them and they made things ready for the Passover.

14 When it was time he sat down with the apostles.

21 You cannot drink the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons. You cannot be partakers of the Jehovah's Table and of the table of demons. (Malachi 1:12)

20 When you come together to one place, this is not to eat the Lord's Supper.

21 For in eating every one goes ahead with out waiting for everybody else. One is hungry and another is drunk.

22 Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the congregation of God, and shame them that have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I will not praise you!

5 If we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be in the likeness of his resurrection.

6 We know this that our old self was impaled with him that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer be in bondage to sin.

7 He who has died is freed from sin.

8 If we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.

9 We know that Christ being raised from the dead died no more; death no longer has dominion over him.

10 For the death that he died, he died with reference to sin once. But the life that he lives, he lives to God.
