2 He is the propitiation Greek: hilasmos: atonement, compensation for our sins. Not for ours only, but also for the whole world.

10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation atonementsacrificial payment for our sins.


10 While we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son. Being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.


18 Know that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your fathers. The redemption was not with corruptible things like silver or gold,

19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ.

2 Look to consider without distractions Jesus, the Leader Predecessor and Finisher Perfecter of our faith. He despised the shame. He endured the stake for the joy that was set before him. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


25 He is able to save completely those who approach God through him, because he is always alive to intercede for them.


23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God

24 being justified freely by his grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.


5 The angel spoke to the women: »I know you seek Jesus who has been impaled; do not fear.

6 He existed in the form shape and nature of God but did not try to be equal with God. He did not even consider it!

7 He emptied humbled himself by taking the form of a servant. He was made in the likeness of men.

8 He obtained the appearance as a man, humbled himself, and became obedient even to death, yes, death on the stake.


22 « Having obtained help from God, I continue to this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those that the prophets and Moses said should come.

20 I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh physical body I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.


15 For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant. A death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant. Those called may receive the promise of everlasting inheritance.


7 In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.


25 »I know that my redeemer lives, and in later days he will take his stand on the earth.
