21 »See, Jehovah your God give you this land. Possess it, for Jehovah the God of your fathers said to you: Do not fear. Do not be discouraged.

15 Shod your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace.

16 Also take up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

17 Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.


12 The man who endures under trial is blessed. For when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted: "God tempts me." God cannot be tempted with evil, and he tempts enticesteststrys no one.

18 Flee from fornication! Every sin that a man does is outside his body. But he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

19 What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit? That one Greek: »hos he ho« which, that one is in you. You received it from God. You are not your own.

20 You are bought with a price! Therefore glorify God in your body.


16 I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. These are in opposition to one another that you may not do the things that you would.
