As terras da tribo de Simeão

1 Na segunda vez, a sorte saiu para a tribo de Simeão, clã por clã. A herança deles ficava dentro do território de Judá. 2 Eles receberam:

Berseba, ou Seba, Moladá, 3 Hazar-Sual, Balá, Azém, 4 Eltolade, Betul, Hormá, 5 Ziclague, Bete-Marcabote, Hazar-Susa, 6 Bete-Lebaote e Saruém. Ao todo, treze cidades com os seus povoados.

7 Aim, Rimom, Eter e Asã — quatro cidades com os seus povoados — 8 e todos os povoados ao redor dessas cidades até Baalate-Beer, que é Ramá, no Neguebe.

Esta foi a herança da tribo dos simeonitas, clã por clã. 9 A herança dos simeonitas foi tirada de Judá, pois Judá recebera mais terras do que precisava. Assim, os simeonitas receberam a sua herança dentro do território de Judá.

As terras da tribo de Zebulom

10 Na terceira vez, a sorte saiu para Zebulom, clã por clã.

A fronteira da sua herança ia até Saride. 11 De lá, ia para o oeste, chegava a Maralá, alcançava Dabesete e se estendia até o ribeiro próximo a Jocneão. 12 De Saride, fazia uma curva para o leste, para o lado do nascente, em direção ao território de Quislote-Tabor, prosseguia até Daberate e subia para Jafia. 13 Depois, continuava para o leste até Gate-Héfer e Ete-Cazim, chegava a Rimom e fazia uma curva na direção de Neá. 14 Do norte, a fronteira voltava até Hanatom e terminava no vale de Iftá-El.

15 Aí também estavam Catate, Naalal, Sinrom, Idala e Belém. Ao todo, doze cidades com os seus povoados.

16 Essas cidades com os seus povoados foram a herança de Zebulom, clã por clã.

As terras da tribo de Issacar

17 Na quarta vez, a sorte saiu para Issacar, clã por clã. 18 O seu território abrangia:

Jezreel, Quesulote, Suném, 19 Hafaraim, Siom, Anaarate, 20 Rabite, Quisiom, Ebes, 21 Remete, En-Ganim, En-Hadá e Bete-Pazes.

22 A fronteira chegava a Tabor, Saazima e Bete-Semes e terminava no Jordão.

Ao todo, dezesseis cidades com os seus povoados.

23 Essas cidades com os seus povoados foram a herança da tribo de Issacar, clã por clã.

As terras da tribo de Aser

24 Na quinta vez, a sorte saiu para Aser, clã por clã. 25 O seu território abrangia:

Helcate, Hali, Béten, Acsafe, 26 Alameleque, Amade e Misal. A oeste, a fronteira alcançava o Carmelo e Sior-Libnate. 27 De lá, virava para o leste em direção a Bete-Dagom, alcançava Zebulom e o vale de Iftá-El e ia para o norte, para Bete-Emeque e Neiel, passando por Cabul, à esquerda, 28 Abdom,*19.28 Ou Ebrom, cidade do território de Aser destinada ao clã gersonita, da tribo de Levi. Reobe, Hamom e Caná até a grande Sidom. 29 Depois, a fronteira voltava para Ramá e ia para a cidade fortificada de Tiro, virava na direção de Hosa e terminava no mar, na região de Aczibe, 30 Umá, Afeque e Reobe.

Ao todo, vinte e duas cidades com os seus povoados.

31 Essas cidades com os seus povoados foram a herança da tribo de Aser, clã por clã.

As terras da tribo de Naftali

32 Na sexta vez, a sorte saiu para Naftali, clã por clã.

33 A sua fronteira ia desde Helefe e do carvalho de Zaanim, passava por Adami-Neguebe e Jabneel e ia até Lacum, terminando no Jordão. 34 Voltando para o oeste, a fronteira passava por Aznote-Tabor e ia para Hucoque. Atingia Zebulom ao sul, Aser a oeste e o Jordão*19.34 Conforme a Septuaginta. O Texto Massorético traz oeste, e Judá, o Jordão. a leste.

35 As cidades fortificadas eram Zidim, Zer, Hamate, Racate, Quinerete, 36 Adamá, Ramá, Hazor, 37 Quedes, Edrei, En-Hazor, 38 Irom, Migdal-El, Horém, Bete-Anate e Bete-Semes.

Ao todo, dezenove cidades com os seus povoados.

39 Essas cidades com os seus povoados foram a herança da tribo de Naftali, clã por clã.

As terras da tribo de Dã

40 Na sétima vez, a sorte saiu para Dã, clã por clã. 41 O território da sua herança abrangia:

Zorá, Estaol, Ir-Semes, 42 Saalabim, Aijalom, Itla, 43 Elom, Timna, Ecrom, 44 Elteque, Gibetom, Baalate, 45 Jeúde, Bene-Beraque, Gate-Rimom, 46 Me-Jarcom e Racom, com a região situada defronte de Jope.

47 A tribo de Dã, porém, teve dificuldade para tomar posse do seu território. Por isso, atacaram Lesém, conquistaram-na, passaram-na à espada e a ocuparam. Estabeleceram-se em Lesém e lhe deram o nome de Dã, por causa do seu antepassado.

48 Essas cidades com os seus povoados foram a herança da tribo de Dã, clã por clã.

As terras dadas a Josué

49 Quando terminaram de dividir a terra em territórios delimitados, os israelitas deram a Josué, filho de Num, uma herança no meio deles, 50 como o Senhor tinha ordenado. Deram-lhe a cidade que ele havia pedido, Timnate-Sera,*19.50 Variante de Timnate-Heres. Veja Jz 2.9. nos montes de Efraim, onde ele reconstruiu a cidade e se estabeleceu.

51 Estes foram os territórios que o sacerdote Eleazar, Josué, filho de Num, e os chefes dos clãs das tribos de Israel repartiram por sorteio em Siló, na presença do Senhor, à entrada da tenda do encontro. Assim, terminaram de dividir a terra.

Allotment for Simeon

1 The second lot came out for the tribe of Simeon according to its clans. Their inheritance lay within the territory of Judah. 2 It included:

Beersheba (or Sheba),*19:2 Or Beersheba, Sheba; 1 Chron. 4:28 does not have Sheba. Moladah, 3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem, 4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah, 5 Ziklag, Beth Markaboth, Hazar Susah, 6 Beth Lebaoth and Sharuhen—thirteen towns and their villages;

7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan—four towns and their villages— 8 and all the villages around these towns as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah in the Negev).

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the Simeonites, according to its clans. 9 The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the share of Judah, because Judah’s portion was more than they needed. So the Simeonites received their inheritance within the territory of Judah.

Allotment for Zebulun

10 The third lot came up for Zebulun according to its clans:

The boundary of their inheritance went as far as Sarid. 11 Going west it ran to Maralah, touched Dabbesheth, and extended to the ravine near Jokneam. 12 It turned east from Sarid toward the sunrise to the territory of Kisloth Tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia. 13 Then it continued eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin; it came out at Rimmon and turned toward Neah. 14 There the boundary went around on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El. 15 Included were Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah and Bethlehem. There were twelve towns and their villages.

16 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of Zebulun, according to its clans.

Allotment for Issachar

17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar according to its clans. 18 Their territory included:

Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem, 19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath, 20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez, 21 Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez. 22 The boundary touched Tabor, Shahazumah and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen towns and their villages.

23 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar, according to its clans.

Allotment for Asher

24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher according to its clans. 25 Their territory included:

Helkath, Hali, Beten, Akshaph, 26 Allammelek, Amad and Mishal. On the west the boundary touched Carmel and Shihor Libnath. 27 It then turned east toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El, and went north to Beth Emek and Neiel, passing Kabul on the left. 28 It went to Abdon,*19:28 Some Hebrew manuscripts (see also 21:30); most Hebrew manuscripts Ebron Rehob, Hammon and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon. 29 The boundary then turned back toward Ramah and went to the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah and came out at the Mediterranean Sea in the region of Akzib, 30 Ummah, Aphek and Rehob. There were twenty-two towns and their villages.

31 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Asher, according to its clans.

Allotment for Naphtali

32 The sixth lot came out for Naphtali according to its clans:

33 Their boundary went from Heleph and the large tree in Zaanannim, passing Adami Nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum and ending at the Jordan. 34 The boundary ran west through Aznoth Tabor and came out at Hukkok. It touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west and the Jordan*19:34 Septuagint; Hebrew west, and Judah, the Jordan, on the east. 35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth, 36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor, 37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor, 38 Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath and Beth Shemesh. There were nineteen towns and their villages.

39 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Naphtali, according to its clans.

Allotment for Dan

40 The seventh lot came out for the tribe of Dan according to its clans. 41 The territory of their inheritance included:

Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh, 42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah, 43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron, 44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath, 45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon, 46 Me Jarkon and Rakkon, with the area facing Joppa.

47 (When the territory of the Danites was lost to them, they went up and attacked Leshem, took it, put it to the sword and occupied it. They settled in Leshem and named it Dan after their ancestor.)

48 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Dan, according to its clans.

Allotment for Joshua

49 When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them, 50 as the Lord had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for—Timnath Serah*19:50 Also known as Timnath Heres (see Judges 2:9) in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.

51 These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. And so they finished dividing the land.
