1 Vi no céu outro sinal grande e maravilhoso. Sete anjos seguravam as últimas sete pragas que completariam a fúria de Deus. 2 Vi diante de mim algo semelhante a um mar de vidro misturado com fogo. Nele estavam em pé todos os que haviam vencido a besta, sua estátua e o número que representa seu nome. Todos seguravam harpas que Deus lhes tinha dado 3 e entoavam o cântico de Moisés, servo de Deus, e o cântico do Cordeiro:

"Grandes e maravilhosas são as tuas obras,

ó Senhor Deus, o Todo-poderoso.

Justos e verdadeiros são os teus caminhos,

ó Rei das nações.

4 Quem não te temerá, Senhor?

Quem não glorificará teu nome?

Pois só tu és santo.

Todas as nações virão e adorarão diante de ti,

pois teus feitos de justiça foram revelados".

5 Então olhei e vi que se abriu o templo no céu, o tabernáculo da aliança. 6 Os sete anjos que seguravam as sete pragas saíram do templo. Vestiam linho branco, sem mancha alguma, com uma faixa de ouro sobre o peito. 7 Um dos quatro seres vivos entregou a cada um dos sete anjos uma taça de ouro cheia da fúria de Deus, que vive para todo o sempre. 8 O templo se encheu da fumaça da glória e do poder de Deus, e ninguém podia entrar no templo enquanto os anjos não tivessem terminado de derramar as sete pragas.

1 I saw another great and marvelous sign in the sky: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them God’s wrath is finished.

2 I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who overcame the beast, his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. 3 They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

"Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty!

Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.

4 Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord,

and glorify your name?

For you only are holy.

For all the nations will come and worship before you.

For your righteous acts have been revealed."

5 After these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. 6 The seven angels who had the seven plagues came out, clothed with pure, bright linen, and wearing golden sashes around their chests.

7 One of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. 8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power. No one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels would be finished.
