1 Os artesãos confeccionaram belas roupas sagradas de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho para Arão vestir ao servir no lugar santo, conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

2 Bezalel fez o colete sacerdotal de linho finamente tecido e bordou-o usando fios de ouro e fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho. 3 Para fazer os fios de ouro, bateu o metal até formar lâminas finas e as cortou em fios. Com grande habilidade e cuidado, bordou os fios de ouro no linho fino, com fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho.

4 O colete sacerdotal tinha duas peças, unidas nos ombros por duas ombreiras. 5 O cinturão decorativo era feito dos mesmos materiais: linho finamente tecido bordado com fios de ouro e fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés. 6 Duas pedras de ônix foram presas em suportes de filigranas de ouro. Nas pedras tinham sido gravados os nomes das tribos de Israel, da mesma forma que se grava um selo. 7 Bezalel prendeu as pedras às ombreiras do colete como recordação de que o sacerdote representa os israelitas. Tudo isso foi feito conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

8 Bezalel fez o peitoral com grande habilidade e cuidado. Confeccionou-o de modo que combinasse com o colete sacerdotal, usando linho finamente tecido, bordado com ouro e com fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho. 9 Fez o peitoral de uma só peça dobrada de tecido, formando um bolso quadrado com 22,5 centímetros de lado. 10 Fixou no peitoral quatro fileiras de pedras preciosas. A primeira fileira tinha um rubi, um topázio e um berilo. 11 A segunda fileira era composta de uma turquesa, uma safira e uma esmeralda. 12 A terceira fileira era composta de um jacinto, uma ágata e uma ametista. 13 A quarta fileira tinha um crisólito, um ônix e um jaspe. Todas essas pedras eram presas a suportes de filigranas de ouro. 14 Cada pedra representava um dos doze filhos de Israel e trazia gravado o nome da tribo correspondente, como em um selo.

15 Para prender o peitoral ao colete sacerdotal, fizeram correntes de fios trançados de ouro puro. 16 Fizeram também dois suportes de filigranas de ouro e duas argolas de ouro, que foram presas aos cantos superiores do peitoral. 17 Amarraram as duas correntes de ouro nas duas argolas do peitoral. 18 Amarraram as outras pontas das correntes aos suportes de filigrana de ouro sobre as ombreiras do colete. 19 Em seguida, fizeram mais duas argolas de ouro e as prenderam às bordas interiores do peitoral, junto ao colete. 20 Fizeram outras duas argolas de ouro e as prenderam à parte da frente do colete, abaixo das ombreiras e logo acima do nó que amarrava o cinturão decorativo ao colete. 21 Prenderam as argolas inferiores do peitoral às argolas do colete com cordões azuis, para que o peitoral ficasse firmemente preso ao colete acima do cinturão. Tudo isso foi feito conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

22 Bezalel fez de uma só peça de tecido azul o manto que é usado com o colete sacerdotal, 23 com uma abertura no meio da peça para a cabeça de Arão. A abertura foi reforçada com uma gola, para que não se rasgasse. 24 Fizeram romãs de fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho e as prenderam à borda do manto. 25 Fizeram também sinos de ouro puro e os prenderam entre as romãs à borda do manto, 26 intercalando sinos e romãs por toda a volta da borda. Esse manto deveria ser usado sempre que o sacerdote realizasse seu serviço, conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

27 Confeccionaram para Arão e seus filhos túnicas de linho fino. 28 O turbante especial e os outros turbantes também foram confeccionados de linho fino, e as roupas de baixo foram feitas de linho finamente tecido. 29 Os cinturões foram feitos de linho finamente tecido e bordados com fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

30 Fizeram de ouro puro a tiara sagrada, o emblema de santidade. Gravaram nela, como em um selo, as palavras Santo para o Senhor. 31 Prenderam a tiara com um cordão azul à parte da frente do turbante de Arão, conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.

32 Assim, a construção do tabernáculo, a tenda do encontro, foi concluída. Os israelitas fizeram tudo conforme o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés. 33 Então apresentaram a Moisés o tabernáculo completo:

a tenda com toda a sua mobília, os colchetes, as armações, os travessões, as colunas e as bases;

34 as coberturas da tenda, feitas de peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho e couro fino;

a cortina interna que protegia a arca;

35 a arca da aliança e as varas para transportá-la;

a tampa da arca, que é o lugar de expiação;

36 a mesa e todos os seus utensílios;

os pães da presença;

37 o candelabro de ouro puro, com suas lâmpadas simétricas, todos os seus acessórios e o óleo de oliva para a iluminação;

38 o altar de ouro;

o óleo da unção e o incenso perfumado;

a cortina para a entrada da tenda;

39 o altar de bronze com a grelha de bronze, as varas para transportá-lo e seus utensílios;

a bacia de bronze e seu suporte;

40 a cortina para as divisórias do pátio;

as colunas e suas bases;

a cortina para a entrada do pátio;

as cordas e as estacas;

todos os utensílios a serem usados durante as cerimônias no tabernáculo, a tenda do encontro;

41 as roupas finamente confeccionadas para os sacerdotes vestirem enquanto estiverem servindo no lugar santo, as roupas sacerdotais sagradas de Arão e as roupas que seus filhos vestiriam durante o serviço.

42 Os israelitas seguiram todas as instruções que o Senhor tinha dado a Moisés acerca da obra. 43 Então Moisés inspecionou todo o trabalho. Quando verificou que tinha sido feito conforme o Senhor havia ordenado, abençoou o povo.

6 They worked the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, engraved with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the children of Israel. 7 He put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

8 He made the breastplate, the work of a skillful workman, like the work of the ephod: of gold, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen. 9 It was square. They made the breastplate double. Its length was a span, and its width a span, being double. 10 They set in it four rows of stones. A row of ruby, topaz, and beryl was the first row; 11 and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald; 12 and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13 and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold settings. 14 The stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, for the twelve tribes. 15 They made on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold. 16 They made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate. 17 They put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate. 18 The other two ends of the two braided chains they put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, in its front. 19 They made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which was toward the side of the ephod inward. 20 They made two more rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its front, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod. 21 They bound the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not come loose from the ephod, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

22 He made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue. 23 The opening of the robe in the middle of it was like the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding around its opening, that it should not be torn. 24 They made on the skirts of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple, scarlet, and twined linen. 25 They made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates around the skirts of the robe, between the pomegranates; 26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, around the skirts of the robe, to minister in, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

27 They made the tunics of fine linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons, 28 the turban of fine linen, the linen headbands of fine linen, the linen trousers of fine twined linen, 29 the sash of fine twined linen, blue, purple, and scarlet, the work of the embroiderer, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

30 They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription, like the engravings of a signet: "HOLY TO YAHWEH". 31 They tied to it a lace of blue, to fasten it on the turban above, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished. The children of Israel did according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses; so they did. 33 They brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent, with all its furniture, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, 34 the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of sea cow hides, the veil of the screen, 35 the ark of the covenant with its poles, the mercy seat, 36 the table, all its vessels, the show bread, 37 the pure lamp stand, its lamps, even the lamps to be set in order, all its vessels, the oil for the light, 38 the golden altar, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, the screen for the door of the Tent, 39 the bronze altar, its grating of bronze, its poles, all of its vessels, the basin and its base, 40 the hangings of the court, its pillars, its sockets, the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, its pins, and all the instruments of the service of the tabernacle, for the Tent of Meeting, 41 the finely worked garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office. 42 According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work. 43 Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it as Yahweh had commanded. They had done so; and Moses blessed them.
