4 Enquanto espalhava a semente na terra, alguma caiu ao lado dum caminho, e vieram os pássaros e comeram-na.

5 Outra caiu em terra pedregosa e pouco profunda; as plantas depressa nasceram no chão pouco espesso, mas logo o calor do Sol as queimou, pelo que murcharam e morreram por terem tão fraca raiz

7 Outras sementes cairam entre espinhos, que abafaram as folhas tenras

8 Outras, porém, caíram em chão bom, e deram uma colheita de trinta, sessenta ou mesmo cem vezes o que tinha sido semeado

9 Quem sabe ouvir, então que ouça!

3 And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.

4 And Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you{}? How long shall I bear with you{}? Bring him here to me.

5 And Jesus rebuked him; and the demon went out of him: and the boy was cured from that hour.

6 And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man will be delivered up into the hands of men;

7 and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up. And they were exceedingly sorry.

8 And there arose a reasoning among them, which of them might be the greatest.

9 But Jesus knowing the reasoning of their heart, took a little child, and set him by his side,
