1 Herra on kuningas! Mahti on hänen viittanaan, hän on vyöttäytynyt, kietonut vyötäisilleen voiman! Maanpiiri on lujalla perustalla, se ei horju.2 Sinun valtaistuimesi on luja, se on ollut luja halki aikojen. Sinä olet ollut iäti.3 Virrat pauhaavat, Herra, virrat pauhaavat kohisten, virrat pauhaavat ja jylisevät.4 Mahtava on meren aallokko, mahtavampi vaahtopäinen myrsky, mahtavin on korkeuden Herra!5 Sinun säädöksesi, Herra, ovat lujat ja varmat, pyhänä hohtaa sinun temppelisi ajasta aikaan.

1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
