But while he was thinking this over, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for what has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor archangels, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height nor depth nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and with God's trumpet-call, and first the dead in Christ will rise.
Then we, the living, who are left, will be caught up along with them into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall forever be with the Lord.
