36 naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you came to me.'

37 Then will the righteous answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?

38 When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you?

39 When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?'

40 The King will answer, 'I tell you truly, inasmuch as you did it to one of these my brothers \'97 even the least \'97 you did it to me.'


16 When evening came, they brought to him many demoniacs and he cast out the spirits by a word, and all their sick he healed.

17 This was in order to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, "He took our weaknesses and bore away our diseases."


17 When Jesus heard it, he said to them, "The strong have no need of a physician, but the sick have. I did not come to call righteous men, but sinners."


8 Heal sick men, raise dead men, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without being paid.


7 and because of the surpassing nature of the revelations. For this reason, that I should not be puffed up, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, an angel of Satan, to torment me, so that I should not be puffed up.

8 Regarding this I three times begged the Lord that it might leave me.

9 But he has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you; for power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly then will I boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may abide upon me.

10 Therefore I rejoice in weaknesses, in rough treatment, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.


35 Jesus made a circuit through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity.


14 Is any one of you sick? Let him call in the elders of the church and let them pray over him and anoint him with olive oil in the name of the Lord.

15 The prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins they will be forgiven him.


13 You know that because of weakness of the flesh I told you the good news at first.

14 And you did not despise or spurn what was a trial to you in my bodily condition, but welcomed me as you would an angel of God, as you would Christ Jesus.


23 Do not keep on being a water-drinker, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and because of your frequent ailments.


9 Heal those in it that are sick and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.'


4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; neither shall there any longer be sorrow or wailing or painful toil; for the first things have passed away."


16 Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another in order to be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man has great power.


2 Beloved, I pray that in everything you may prosper and be in health, just as your soul now prospers.


1 JESUS called together the twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases.

2 Then he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.
