Temor de Deus
So then, since we are receiving an unshaken kingdom, let us have grace by which we may worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
For our God is a consuming fire.
Who will not reverence and glorify thy name, O Lord? For thou only art holy. All the nations will come and worship before thee, because thy righteous acts have been made manifest."
Do not fear before those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
HAVING then these promises, beloved, let us purify ourselves from every defilement of flesh or spirit, in reverence for God making our holiness complete.
