Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

According as it is writtenFor thy sake, are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.

Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquering through him that hath loved us.

For I am persuaded thatneither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
