1 Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. ¿HASTA cuándo, Jehová? ¿me olvidarás para siempre? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás tu rostro de mí?

2 ¿Hasta cuándo pondré consejos en mi alma, Con ansiedad en mi corazón cada día? ¿Hasta cuándo será enaltecido mi enemigo sobre mí?

3 Mira, óyeme, Jehová Dios mío: Alumbra mis ojos, porque no duerma en muerte;

4 Porque no diga mi enemigo, Vencílo: Mis enemigos se alegrarán, si yo resbalare.

5 Mas yo en tu misericordia he confiado: Alegraráse mi corazón en tu salud.

6 Cantaré á Jehová, Porque me ha hecho bien.

1 [To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] How long, Jehovah, wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3 Consider, answer me, O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the {sleep of} death;

4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him! {lest} mine adversaries be joyful when I am moved.

5 As for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.

6 I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.
