8 As to the rest, brethren, as many things as are true, as many as are grave, as many as are righteous, as many as are pure, as many as are lovely, as many as are of good report, if any worthiness, and if any praise, these things think upon;
7 'And -- praying -- you may not use vain repetitions like the nations, for they think that in their much speaking they shall be heard,
12 for the reckoning of God is living, and working, and sharp above every two-edged sword, and piercing unto the dividing asunder both of soul and spirit, of joints also and marrow, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;
10 And I call upon you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that the same thing you may all say, and there may not be divisions among you, and you may be perfected in the same mind, and in the same judgment,
11 for who of men have known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that is in him? so also the things of God no one has known, except the Spirit of God.
20 And he said -- 'That which is coming out from the man, that does defile the man;
21 for from within, out of the heart of men, the evil reasonings do come forth, adulteries, whoredoms, murders,
22 thefts, covetous desires, wickedness, deceit, arrogance, an evil eye, evil speaking, pride, foolishness;
23 all these evils do come forth from within, and they defile the man.'
25 'Because of this I say to you, be not anxious for your life, what you may eat, and what you may drink, nor for your body, what you may put on. Is not the life more than the nourishment, and the body than the clothing?
3 For I say, through the grace that was given to me, to every one who is among you, not to think above what it behooves to think; but to think so as to think wisely, as to each God did deal a measure of faith,
18 Let no one deceive himself; if any one does seem to be wise among you in this age -- let him become a fool, that he may become wise,
2 and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what is the will of God -- the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
13 Therefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly upon the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
20 and to Him who is able above all things to do exceeding abundantly super abundantly what we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,
21 to Him is the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.
