20 A sabedoria grita nas ruas, Nas praças levanta a sua voz;

21 Clama no lugar mais concorrido, À entrada das portas e na cidade profere as suas palavras:

22 Até quando, ó estúpidos, amareis a estupidez? Até quando se deleitarão no escárnio os escarnecedores, E aborrecerão os loucos o conhecimento?

23 Convertei-vos pela minha repreensão: Eis que vos exporei o meu pensamento, E vos farei conhecer as minhas palavras.

20 Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; she uttereth her voice in the broad places; 21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse; at the entering in of the gates, in the city, she uttereth her words: 22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and scorners delight them in scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
