11 Não digo isto por causa da necessidade: pois eu da minha parte tenho aprendido a contentar-me com as circunstâncias em que me acho.

12 Sei ainda viver na penúria, e sei também viver na abundância; em tudo e em todas as coisas sei o que é ter fartura e ter fome, ter abundância e padecer necessidade.

13 Tudo posso naquele que me fortalece.

11 Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. 12 I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
