O Adultério

11 And he says to them, Whoever divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery against her:

12 and if she herself divorced her husband, and marries another, she commits adultery.

14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: He who is abhorred of Yahweh will fall in it.

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you{} will not fulfill the desire of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that you{} may not do the things that you{} want.

19 Now as he spoke, a Pharisee asks him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil:

4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol;

6 If she does not find the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she will not know.

7 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.

8 Remove your way far from her, And don't come near the door of her house;

9 Or else you will give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel;

4 [Let] marriage [be] had in honor among all, and [let] the bed [be] undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil:

4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol;

6 If she does not find the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she will not know.

21 And I gave her time that she should repent; and she does not want to repent of her fornication.

22 Look, I cast her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.

10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife--who commits adultery with his fellow man's wife--the adulterer and the adulteress will surely be put to death.

18 Everyone who divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery: and he who marries her who has been divorced from a husband commits adultery.

4 You{} adulteresses, don't you{} know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore would be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

14 You will not commit adultery.

27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, And his clothes not be burned?

28 Or can one walk on hot coals, And his feet not be scorched?

29 So he who goes in to his fellow man's wife; Whoever has any sex with her will not be unpunished.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.

19 [As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her nipples immerse you at all times; And be ravished always with her love.

20 For why should you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, And embrace the bosom of a foreigner?

20 And you will not have any sex with your associate's wife, to defile yourself with her.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]: fornication, impurity, sexual immorality,

20 idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, strife, jealousy, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,

21 envyings, drunkenness, revelings, and things similar to these; of which I forewarn you{}, even as I did forewarn you{}, that those who participate in such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

8 Remove your way far from her, And don't come near the door of her house;

9 Or else you will give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel;

10 Or else strangers will be filled with your strength, And your labors [be] in the house of an alien,

11 And you mourn at your latter end, When your flesh and your body are consumed,

12 And say, How I have hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof;

13 Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!

14 I was well-near in all evil In the midst of the assembly and congregation.

32 He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He who does it destroys his own soul.

32 He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He who does it destroys his own soul.

33 Wounds and dishonor he will get; And his reproach will not be wiped away.

34 For jealousy is the rage of a [noble] man; And he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

35 He will not regard any ransom; Neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.

18 For her house inclines to death, And her paths to the spirits of the dead;

19 None who go to her return again, Neither do they attain to the paths of life:
