Sela. 10 Lauter Tand sind die Menschen, Lügner die Vornehmen; auf der Wage ziehen sie sämmtlich vor Tand in die Höhe. 11 Vertrauet nicht auf erpreßtes Gut, und auf Raub seyd nicht eitel; wenn das Vermögen wächst, so hänget das Herz nicht daran. 12 Einmal hat Gott geredet, zweimal hab' ich's gehört: daß bei Gott die Macht ist. 13 Und bei dir, Herr! ist Gnade; denn du vergiltst Jedem nach seinen Werken.

10 Trust not in oppression,

And become not vain in robbery:

If riches increase, set not your heart thereon.

11 God hath spoken once,

That power belongeth unto God.

For thou renderest to every man according to his work.
