1 Cântico das peregrinações. Felizes os que temem o Senhor, os que andam em seus caminhos.2 Poderás viver, então, do trabalho de tuas mãos, serás feliz e terás bem-estar.3 Tua mulher será em teu lar como uma vinha fecunda. Teus filhos em torno à tua mesa serão como brotos de oliveira.4 Assim será abençoado aquele que teme o Senhor.5 De Sião te abençoe o Senhor para que em todos os dias de tua vida gozes da prosperidade de Jerusalém,6 e para que possas ver os filhos dos teus filhos. 1 [A Song of degrees.] Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, that walketh in his ways.2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thy hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine in the inner part of thy house; thy children like olive-plants round about thy table.4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah.5 Jehovah will bless thee out of Zion; and mayest thou see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life,6 And see thy children's children.
