1 Khá ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va,! vì là điều tốt. Hãy hát ngợi khen Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta; vì là việc tốt lành. Sự ngợi khen hiệp lễ nghi.
2 Đức Giê-hô-va xây cất Giê-ru-sa-lem; Ngài hiệp lại những kẻ bị tản lạc của Y-sơ-ra-ên,
3 Chữa lành người có lòng đau thương, Và bó vít của họ.
4 Ngài đếm số các vì sao, Gọi từng tên hết thảy các vì ấy.
5 Chúa chúng tôi thật lớn, có quyền năng cả thể; Sự thông sáng Ngài vô cùng vô tận.
6 Đức Giê-hô-va nâng đỡ người khiêm nhường, Đánh đổ kẻ ác xuống đất.
7 Hãy hát sự cảm tạ cho Đức Giê-hô-va, Gảy đờn cầm mà ngợi khen Đức Chúa Trời chúng tôi.
8 Ngài bao các từng trời bằng mây, Sắm sửa mưa cho đất, Làm cho cỏ mọc trên núi.
9 Ban đồ ăn cho thú vật, Và cho quạ con kêu rêu.
10 Ngài chẳng đẹp lòng sức của ngựa, Cũng không thích chơn của loài người,
11 Bèn là đẹp lòng người kính sợ Ngài, Và kẻ trông đợi sự nhơn từ của Ngài.
12 Hỡi Giê-ru-sa-lem, hãy ngợi khen Đức Giê-hô-va! Ớ Si-ôn, hãy ca tụng Đức Chúa Trời ngươi!
13 Vì Ngài đã làm cho then cửa ngươi nên vững chắc, Ban phước cho con cái ngươi ở giữa ngươi.
14 Ngài giáng bình an trong bờ cõi ngươi, Làm cho ngươi được đầy dẫy lúa-miến tốt-nhứt.
15 Ngài ra lịnh mình trên đất, Lời của Ngài chạy rất mau.
16 Ngài cho mưa tuyết như lông chiên, Rải sương mốc trắng khác nào tro.
17 Ngài ném giá từng miếng; Ai chịu nổi được sự lạnh lẽo của Ngài?
18 Ngài ra lịnh làm cho tuyết giá tan ra, Khiến gió thổi, nước bèn chảy.
19 Ngài truyền lời mình cho Gia-cốp, Luật lệ và mạng lịnh mình cho Y-sơ-ra-ên.
20 Ngài chẳng hề làm vậy cho dân nào khác; Chúng nó không có biết mạng lịnh của Ngài. Ha-lê-lu-gia!
1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
6 The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
