1 I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart.

I will tell of all your marvellous works.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in you.

I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

3 When my enemies turn back,

they stumble and perish in your presence.

4 For you have maintained my just cause.

You sit on the throne judging righteously.

5 You have rebuked the nations.

You have destroyed the wicked.

You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

6 The enemy is overtaken by endless ruin.

The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished.

7 But the LORD reigns forever.

He has prepared his throne for judgement.

8 He will judge the world in righteousness.

He will administer judgement to the peoples in uprightness.

9 The LORD will also be a high tower for the oppressed;

a high tower in times of trouble.

10 Those who know your name will put their trust in you,

for you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

11 Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion,

and declare amongst the people what he has done.

12 For he who avenges blood remembers them.

He doesn’t forget the cry of the afflicted.

13 Have mercy on me, LORD.

See my affliction by those who hate me,

and lift me up from the gates of death,

14 that I may show all of your praise.

I will rejoice in your salvation in the gates of the daughter of Zion.

15 The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made.

In the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.

16 The LORD has made himself known.

He has executed judgement.

The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.

17 The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol,

even all the nations that forget God.

18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten,

nor the hope of the poor perish forever.

19 Arise, LORD! Don’t let man prevail.

Let the nations be judged in your sight.

20 Put them in fear, LORD.

Let the nations know that they are only men. Selah.

1 Eu te louvarei, Senhor, de todo o meu coração; contarei todas as tuas maravilhas. 2 Em ti me alegrarei e saltarei de prazer; cantarei louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo.

3 Porquanto os meus inimigos retrocederam e caíram; e pereceram diante da tua face. 4 Pois tu tens sustentado o meu direito e a minha causa; tu te assentaste no tribunal, julgando justamente.

5 Repreendeste as nações, destruíste os ímpios, apagaste o seu nome para sempre e eternamente. 6 Oh! Inimigo! Consumaram-se as assolações; — tu arrasaste as cidades, e a sua memória pereceu com elas.

7 Mas o Senhor está assentado perpetuamente; já preparou o seu tribunal para julgar. 8 Ele mesmo julgará o mundo com justiça; julgará os povos com retidão. 9 O Senhor será também um alto refúgio para o oprimido; um alto refúgio em tempos de angústia. 10 E em ti confiarão os que conhecem o teu nome; porque tu, Senhor, nunca desamparaste os que te buscam.

11 Cantai louvores ao Senhor, que habita em Sião; anunciai entre os povos os seus feitos, 12 pois inquire do derramamento de sangue e lembra-se dele; não se esquece do clamor dos aflitos.

13 Tem misericórdia de mim, Senhor; vê como me fazem sofrer aqueles que me aborrecem, tu que me levantas das portas da morte; 14 para que eu conte todos os teus louvores às portas da filha de Sião e me alegre na tua salvação.

15 As nações precipitaram-se na cova que abriram; na rede que ocultaram ficou preso o seu pé. 16 O Senhor é conhecido pelo juízo que fez; enlaçado ficou o ímpio nos seus próprios feitos. (Higaiom; Selá)

17 Os ímpios serão lançados no inferno e todas as nações que se esquecem de Deus. 18 Porque o necessitado não será esquecido para sempre, nem a expectação dos pobres se malogrará perpetuamente.

19 Levanta-te, Senhor! Não prevaleça o homem; sejam julgadas as nações perante a tua face. 20 Tu os pões em medo, Senhor, para que saibam as nações que são constituídas por meros homens. (Selá)
