2 And while they were at supper (the devil having now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon,3 to betray him) Jesus knowing the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come forth from God, and going to God,4 Riseth from supper, and layeth aside his garments, and taking a towel, girded himself.5 After that, he poured water into the bason, and began to wash the feet of the disciples, and to wipe them with the towel, wherewith he was girded.
