7 Philip answered him, "Two hundred denarii6:7 A denarius was a silver coin worth about a day’s wages for an agricultural laborer, so 200 denarii would be between 6 and 7 month’s pay. worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may receive a little."
