1 O Jehovah, rebuke me not in Your anger, nor chasten me in Your fury.2 Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am weak; O Jehovah, heal me, for my bones are anxious.3 My soul also is exceedingly anxious; but You, O Jehovah, how long?4 Return, O Jehovah, rescue my soul! Deliver me because of Your goodness!5 For in death there is no remembrance of You; in Sheol who will give thanks to You?6 I am weary from my groaning; all night I make my bed swim; I dissolve my couch with my tears.7 My eye has wasted away because of grief; it has grown weak because of all my enemies.8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for Jehovah has heard the voice of my weeping.9 Jehovah has heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer.10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly dismayed; let them turn back and be ashamed in a moment.
