(yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

Lucas 2:34,35

But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.

48 And when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, Son, why have You done this to us? Behold, Your father and I have sought You, greatly distressed.

49 And He said to them, Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I need to be in the things of My Father?

50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.

51 And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them; but His mother kept all these words in her heart.

46 And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord,

47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

48 For He regards the lowly state of His handmaid; for behold, henceforth all generations will count me blessed.

49 For He who is mighty does great things to me, and holy is His name.

50 And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.

51 He performs mightily with His arm; He scatters the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

52 He puts down the mighty from their thrones, and exalts the lowly.

53 He fills the hungry with good things, and the rich He sends away empty.

54 He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy,

55 as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever.
