1 The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

4 The LORD has made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

23 And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD'S hand shortened? you shall see now whether my word shall come to pass unto you or not.

11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

2 I know that you can do everything, and that no thought can be withheld from you.

6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things are held together.

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, says the Lord GOD; this is the day of which I have spoken.

14 Whereas you know not what shall be tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.15 For you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we shall live, and do this, or that.
