My soul, praise the  Lord.  *

2 I will praise the  Lord all my life;

I will sing to my God as long as I live.  *

13 For it was you who created my inward parts;  *

you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  *

because I have been remarkably and wondrously made.  *,*

Your works are wondrous,

and I know this very well.  *

15 My bones were not hidden from you

when I was made in secret,

when I was formed in the depths of the earth.  *

16 Your eyes saw me when I was formless;

all my days were written in your book and planned

before a single one of them began.  *

33 I will sing to the  Lord all my life;

I will sing praise to my God while I live.  *

34 May my meditation be pleasing to him;

I will rejoice in the  Lord.  *

3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God.

He made us, and we are his  *,*—

his people, the sheep of his pasture.  *

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving  *

and his courts with praise.

Give thanks to him and bless his name.  *

7 How priceless your faithful love is, God!

People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.  *

8 They are filled from the abundance of your house.

You let them drink from your refreshing stream.  *

9 For the wellspring of life is with you.  *

By means of your light we see light.  *

and have not allowed my enemies

I cried to you for help, and you healed me.  *

you spared me from among those

I will declare all your wondrous works.  *

I will sing about your name, Most High.  *

20 giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ.  *

15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

12 giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you  * to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.  *13 He has rescued  * us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom  * of the Son  * he loves.  *14 In him we have redemption,  * the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God,  *

the firstborn over all creation.  *

16 For everything was created by him,  *

in heaven and on earth,

the visible and the invisible,

whether thrones or dominions

or rulers or authorities —

all things have been created through him and for him.  *

17 He is before all things,  *

and by him all things  * hold together.

10 When you eat and are full,  * you will bless the Lord your God for the good land  * he has given you.

you redeemed my life.  *

the earth’s gates shut behind me forever!  *

to your holy temple.  *
