Ajuda para casais
Deus fortalece casamentos. A Bíblia oferece sabedoria prática para casais: comunicar com verdade, perdoar com graça, servir com amor e buscar a Deus juntos.
Amor e respeito
Maridos, amai vossas mulheres. Mulheres, respeitem seus maridos. O amor mútuo edifica o casamento.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her,
33 But as for you individually, you must each one of you love his own wife exactly as if she were yourself; and the wife, on her part, should reverence her husband.
28 That is how husbands ought to love their wives, as they love their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it as Christ does the church;
25 So then put away falseness and speak every man the truth to his neighbor, for we are members one of another.
26 "Be angry and sin not"; let not the sun go down upon your anger.27 Give the devil no place.
29 From your lips let no evil words come forth, but such as occasion warrants, such as are good for upbuilding and give a blessing to the hearers.
31 Banish from among you all bitterness and passion and anger and clamor and slander, as well as all malice;32 and be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ has forgiven you.
União e fidelidade
O que Deus ajuntou não separe o homem. Eu e minha casa serviremos ao Senhor. A fidelidade é alicerce do casamento.
6 "Thus they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."
4 Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.
18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting for Christians.19 Husbands, be loving to your wives, and be not cross or surly with them.
14 Over them all bind on love, which is the girdle of completeness.15 Let the peace of Christ, to which also you were called in one body, rule in your hearts, and show yourselves thankful.
12 Therefore, as Gods chosen people, consecrated and beloved, clothe yourselves with tenderness of heart, kindness, humility, gentleness, good temper;13 bearing with one another and forgiving each other, if any one has a grievance against another. Just as Christ the Lord forgave you, so must you forgive.
Perdão e paciência
Sede bondosos e compassivos uns com os outros. O amor é paciente, benigno. Permanece e persevera.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love makes no parade, is not puffed up,5 is not rude, nor selfish, nor easily provoked. Love bears no malice, never rejoices over wrong-doing,6 but rejoices when the truth rejoices.7 It knows how to be silent, it is trustful, hopeful, patient, enduring.
10 But to those already married my commandment is - and not mine, but the Lords - that a wife is not to leave her husband;11 (or if she has already left him let her either remain as she is, or be reconciled to him), and also that a husband is not to put away his wife.
3 Let the husband give his wife her due, and likewise the wife her husband. The wife is not mistress of her own person,4 but her husband is; and in the same way the husband is not master of his own person, but his wife is.5 Do not refuse one another, unless it is only temporary and by mutual consent, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again, lest through your lack of self-control Satan begin to tempt you to sin.
3 Do nothing out of strife, nothing out of vanity, but let each one in true humility consider the others to be of more account than himself.4 Let each have an eye not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
15 Take care that none of you ever return evil for evil, but always pursue what is kind to one another and to all.
8 Above everything have fervent love to one another; for love veils a multitude of sins.
