33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

25 Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight."

10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

24 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

3 When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?

27 But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."

16 Then the people answered, "Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!17 It was the LORD our God himself who brought us and our parents up out of Egypt, from that land of slavery, and performed those great signs before our eyes. He protected us on our entire journey and among all the nations through which we traveled.

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
