A comunhão
A comunhão cristã é dom e mandamento. Juntos somos mais fortes. A Bíblia celebra a unidade dos crentes em Cristo como antecipação do céu na terra.
I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and that thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all know that ye are disciples of mine, if ye have love amongst yourselves.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common, and sold their possessions and substance, and distributed them to all, according as any one might have need. And every day, being constantly in the temple with one accord, and breaking bread in the house, they received their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people; and the Lord added to the assembly daily those that were to be saved.
that which we have seen and heard we report to you, that ye also may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is indeed with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
Hereby we have known love, because he has laid down his life for us; and we ought for the brethren to lay down our lives.
Wherefore encourage one another, and build up each one the other, even as also ye do.
that is, to have mutual comfort among you, each by the faith which is in the other, both yours and mine.
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom is with some; but encouraging one another, and by so much the more as ye see the day drawing near.
Iron is sharpened by iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ.
So then, as we have occasion, let us do good towards all, and specially towards those of the household of faith.
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and who hath not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one alone be warm? And if a man overpower the one, the two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
