Convicção

Por Bíblia Online –

A convicção cristã é firmeza de fé que não se abala diante da oposição. É a certeza interior que compele a proclamar a verdade com ousadia, independentemente das consequências.

Ousadia para falar

Recebereis poder e sereis minhas testemunhas. A convicção do Espírito nos equipa para proclamar com coragem e sem vergonha.

8 But you shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ordinary men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that in this I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

8 Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.

Firmeza e confiança

Não temas diante dos homens. A Palavra de Deus é fogo na boca do profeta e firmeza na vida do crente.

7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatsoever I command you you shall speak.

9 O Zion, that brings good tidings, get you up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that brings good tidings, lift up your voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned.

9 Like adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

46 I will speak of your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

12 Having your conduct honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

25 The fear of man brings a snare: but whosoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.

14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.15 Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under a bushel, but on a lamp stand; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
