Conhecer o coração

A merry heart does good, like medicine,
But a broken spirit dries the bones.

Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather letitbethe hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
Solet each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.
so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
