O Deus do impossível
Quando a vida aperta e os caminhos parecem fechados, é comum pensar que chegamos ao limite. As portas se fecham, as forças acabam e o que parecia difícil torna-se um beco sem saída. Olhamos para a nossa realidade e não enxergamos saída para o sofrimento ou para a confusão que nos rodeia.
As Escrituras mostram repetidamente que o Criador não se limita pelas nossas barreiras. Ele entra exatamente onde a esperança humana termina e age com poder soberano. Estas palavras servem para lembrar o seu coração de quem Ele é, renovando a confiança na força daquele que governa todas as coisas e sustenta a sua vida em qualquer circunstância.
Deus é o Deus do impossível. Para Ele não há nada difícil demais. O que parece impossível aos olhos humanos é perfeitamente possível para o Criador do universo.
Nada é impossível
Para Deus nada é impossível. Ele faz infinitamente mais do que podemos pedir ou imaginar — esse é o nosso Deus.
And Iesus behelde them, and sayde vnto them, With men this is vnpossible, but with God all things are possible.(Matthew 19:26)
But Iesus looked vpon them, and sayd, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.(Mark 10:27)
And he said, The things which are vnpossible with men, are possible with God.(Luke 18:27)
Then sayde Marie vnto the Angel, How shall this be, seeing I knowe not man? And the Angel answered, and said vnto her, The holy Ghost shall come vpon thee, and the power of the most High shall ouershadowe thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall bee borne of thee, shall be called the Sonne of God. And behold, thy cousin Elisabet, she hath also conceiued a sonne in her olde age: and this is her sixt moneth, which was called barren. For with God shall nothing be vnpossible. Then Marie said, Behold the seruant of the Lord: be it vnto me according to thy woorde. So the Angel departed from her.(Luke 1:34-38)
And ye Lord saide vnto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah thus laugh, saying, Shall I certainely beare a childe, which am olde? (Shall any thing be hard to the Lord? at the time appointed will I returne vnto thee, euen according to the time of life, and Sarah shall haue a sonne.)(Genesis 18:13,14)
I knowe that thou canst doe all things, and that there is no thought hidde from thee.(Job 42:2)
Ah Lord God, beholde, thou hast made the heauen and the earth by thy great power, and by thy stretched out arme, and there is nothing hard vnto thee.(Jeremiah 32:17)
Fé no impossível
Se tiverdes fé como um grão de mostarda... Os impossíveis de Deus são convites ao exercício da fé audaciosa.
And Iesus said vnto them, Because of your vnbeliefe: for verely I say vnto you, if ye haue faith as much as is a graine of mustarde seede, ye shall say vnto this mountaine, Remooue hence to yonder place, and it shall remoue: and nothing shalbe vnpossible vnto you.(Matthew 17:20)
And Iesus said vnto him, If thou canst beleeue it, al things are possible to him that beleeueth.(Mark 9:23)
Therefore I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye shall haue it, and it shalbe done vnto you.(Mark 11:24)
