1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.2 I will say of LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.3 For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.4 He will cover thee with his pinions, and under his wings shall thou take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.

1 I love thee, O LORD, my strength.2 LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.3 I will call upon LORD, who is worthy to be praised. So I shall be saved from my enemies.

1 Preserve me, O God, for in thee do I take refuge.

1 LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? LORD is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?2 When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, [even] my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.

1 In thee, O LORD, do I take refuge. Let me never be put to shame. Deliver me in thy righteousness.2 Bow down thine ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be thou to me a strong rock, a house of defense to save me.3 For thou are my rock and my fortress. Therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me.4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me, for thou are my stronghold.5 Into thy hand I commend my spirit. Thou have redeemed me, O LORD, thou God of truth.

3 Be thou to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually resort. Thou have given commandment to save me, for thou are my rock and my fortress.

8 It is better to take refuge in LORD than to put confidence in man.9 It is better to take refuge in LORD than to put confidence in rulers.

5 My soul, wait thou in silence for God only, for my expectation is from him.6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my high tower. I shall not be moved.7 With God is my salvation and my glory. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.8 Trust in him at all times, ye people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.

17 To thee, O my strength, I will sing praises. For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.

1 LORD, thou have been our dwelling-place in all generations.2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or thou had ever formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou are God.

9 LORD will also be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble.10 And those who know thy name will put their trust in thee, for thou, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek thee.

7 How precious is thy loving kindness, O God, and the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

7 LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knows those who take refuge in him.

4 For thou have been a stronghold to a poor man, a stronghold to a needy man in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the oppressors is as a storm against the wall.

26 In the fear of LORD is strong confidence, and his sons shall have a place of refuge.

29 The way of LORD is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.
