Dificuldades
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth changes, and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas,3 though the waters of it roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with the swelling of it. Selah.
2 I will say of LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
8 Trust in him at all times, ye people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9 LORD will also be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble.10 And those who know thy name will put their trust in thee, for thou, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek thee.
9 Thou rule the pride of the sea. When the waves of it arise, thou still them.
4 Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, LORD on high is mighty.
29 He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves of it are still.
35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or restriction, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?36 Just as it is written, For thy sake we are killed the whole day long. We are considered as sheep of slaughter.37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor heavenly agents, nor principal positions, nor powers, nor things that have come, nor things that are coming,39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Provisão nas dificuldades
O Senhor provê mesmo nos tempos mais difíceis. Ele sustentou Elias, protegeu Israel e cuida dos seus com fidelidade eterna.
16 The jar of meal was not used up, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of LORD, which he spoke by Elijah.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.40 They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran in the dry places [like] a river.
25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen a righteous man forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
18 LORD knows the days of the perfect, and their inheritance shall be forever.19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
3 For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.
4 For thou have been a stronghold to a poor man, a stronghold to a needy man in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the oppressors is as a storm against the wall.
6 And there shall be a pavilion for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
2 When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walk through the fire, thou shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Força nas provas
Em tudo somos atribulados, mas não esmagados. O Senhor é bom e é fortaleza no dia da angústia — Ele conhce os seus.
8 restricted in everything, yet not confined, perplexed but not despairing,9 persecuted but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed.
7 LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and he knows those who take refuge in him.
8 He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent under them.9 He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it.10 He has described a boundary upon the face of the waters, to the confines of light and darkness.
21 Thou shall be hid from the scourge of the tongue. Neither shall thou be afraid of destruction when it comes.
26 And he says to them, Why are ye cowardly, O ye of little faith? Then after rising, he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there became a great calm.27 But the men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
30 And if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into an oven, will he not much more you, O ye of little faith?31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What may we eat? or, What may we drink? or, What may we wear?
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness where she has a place there prepared by God, so that they may nourish her there a thousand two hundred sixty days.
19 Behold, I give you authority to tread over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and, no, nothing will harm you.
