And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over the whole earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth on the earth. And God created Man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.(Genesis 1:26,27)
And they heard the voice of Jehovah Elohim, walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah Elohim, in the midst of the trees of the garden.(Genesis 3:8)
For this cause, even as by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death; and thus death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:(Romans 5:12)
Thus also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam a quickening spirit. But that which is spiritual was not first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual: the first man out of the earth, made of dust; the second man, out of heaven. Such as he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and such as the heavenly one, such also the heavenly ones. And as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly one.(1 Corinthians 15:45-49)
A fragilidade humana e a soberania divina
Man, born of woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.(Job 14:1)
Shall mortal man be more just than +God Shall a man be purer than his Maker?(Job 4:17)
What is man, that thou makest much of him? and that thou settest thy heart upon him?(Job 7:17)
but one has testified somewhere, saying, What is man, that thou rememberest him, or son of man that thou visitest him?(Hebrews 2:6)
The steps of a man are from Jehovah; and how can a man understand his own way?(Proverbs 20:24)
Thus saith Jehovah: Cursed is the man that confideth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from Jehovah.(Jeremiah 17:5)
for let not that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.(James 1:7,8)
Nenhuma atitude humana fica encoberta; os olhos do Senhor observam todos os caminhos:
For the ways of man are before the eyes of Jehovah, and he pondereth all his paths.(Proverbs 5:21)
The purposes of the heart are of man, but the answer of the tongue is from Jehovah.(Proverbs 16:1)
namely your having put off according to the former conversation the old man which corrupts itself according to the deceitful lusts; and being renewed in the spirit of your mind; and your having put on the new man, which according to God is created in truthful righteousness and holiness.(Ephesians 4:22-24)
having annulled the enmity in his flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man, making peace;(Ephesians 2:15)
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man, I had done with what belonged to the child.(1 Corinthians 13:11)
But thou, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness of spirit.(1 Timothy 6:11)
Rebuke not an elder sharply, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brethren,(1 Timothy 5:1)
